   @Ronnie21093 @Kyonko802 I think anyone other than the chinese themselves have no say in chinese copyright law. You think Disney lets em run free of their own will? They've been bootlegging Disney shit for far longer than Nintendo had any IP people cared about. Wouldn't be surprised if the government even passively supports this position because it mostly attacks American and Japanese copyright holders.

     The Chinese government will enforce overseas copyright law if a big business complains, as they have been tripped up by the "TRIPS" agreement and lack of enforcement would mean sanctions.
