   I would pay big bucks for good over ear headphones with ANC and a good microphone. but they all seem to suck?

     @kaia What level of noise are you dealing with? I have a decent set of over ear but they don't have ANC, they still have good enough sound isolation that I can sleep at work a wall away from the carpentry machines.

     @nerthos I'd just want a "universally" usable one. it does not have to do ANC very well. data science job got me Jabra Evolve thing that's not over ear and not usable for music. I'd like one where I can also play music

     @kaia I'm using a redragon zeus, it's mid range in price but quite good for what it is, comfy for long term use. I picked them over an AKG set because they have much better 3D sound. The only downside is they look a bit gamery, but the lights can be turned off.

     @kaia Yeah they have all the usual colours for the terminally online lol
     I got the black one with cloth ear covers because it doesn't break over time unlike the fake leather pads always do, and it's not as hot/sweaty.

     if you only need headset for calls, the Jabra Evolve are super cheap used here because businesses get them back from employees. and then sell them :floofWoozy_256:

     @kaia you won't find a good microphone on Bluetooth headphones. I know some people have like a separate microphone that you attach on it ?
