   When did Select Committees start rejecting submissions that accuse MPs of being racists? I've worked on a number of submissions for @civillibertynz where we have called a bill's supporters racists. Over the years, I've accused several current members of the Justice Select Committee of racist behavior while presenting to that Committee.

     @lightweight @ensslen @civillibertynz Btw, it took me great restraint to express my distaste without resorting slurs!

     Instead I explained to them my principles by which I object as if they're schoolchildren...

     @ensslen @civillibertynz Huh, that's disappointing. In my responses, I've couched my slurs (traitors, betrayers of constituents) under the terms 'MP who support this bill are...'.
