was discussing my pau0b with p and looking to hack it with a luks header, then i found this and ordered it the same day. conducted a four hour capture test amongst multiple protocol networks. this thing cuts like butter and when not doing research work is a respectable radio for 2.4/5/6 bands.

pistolero (p@fsebugoutzone.org)'s status on Friday, 10-Jan-2025 03:25:40 JST pistolero @ins0mniak @jae I had issues getting the, like...it has three kinds of flash and one of them didn't work, couldn't get it to boot.
(Other than that, the only issues I had with it are things probably only I will have, like I didn't want it to act as a DHCP server and you can't make it stop doing that without removing dnsmasq: it won't leave the dnsmasq config alone, it won't avoid starting dnsmasq, it doesn't matter what you configure it to do, it will start dnsmasq and make dnsmasq act as the DHCP server. Most people don't care who is handing out DHCP leases but some of the machines on this network have to have static IPs because they run services that need to be available even when DNS is not and those need to not conflict with DHCP leases, some of the hostnames are going to be a pain in the ass to change because I've got config files all over the place so I make sure the hostnames don't change, etc.) -
