Here's a question which we'd have called a #LazyWeb post before search engine results turned to crap; now I'd prefer to use #ExpertWeb instead.
I hope a PoliSci person reads this: are there studies exploring the prevalence of political groups employing a strategy (covert or overt) of pushing people on the opposite of the political spectrum to splinter groups unlikely to meet the electoral threshold, in party-list proportional representation systems?
