I basically want my gen 1 toyota tacoma (6' bed, 2 doors, no back seats), only with batteries. I'd even buy a Ford Maverick if they'd get rid of the back seats and extend the bed.

I'm looking for the compact pickup form factor, while the industry is trying to make the biggest most imposing vehicle it can. Good mileage and the ability to move the kinds of things that DIY homeowners move (appliances, lumber, furniture) is what I'm looking for, and I suspect I'm not alone. Small is better, but not at the expense of a bed, that's what makes it a truck.
