@Dany most memos contain the same amount of semantic content as a slide deck and there's no need to deal with all that pesky complex grammar. Plus, pictures! And the people who use slide decks that way spend a *lot* of time getting quick at slide decks. You'd be amazed what people will do to avoid writing. Like, people made robots write trash for them so they could avoid writing themselves.
