   @mathowie WAT. I have never watched this show because it sounded like "white dudes being sad about being white dudes". I never got any "good place" vibes from the marketing even remotely.

     I finally started binging season two of Shrinking and the show is so good it makes me mad.

     It’s like half The Good Place, where you feel like you’re learning how to become a better person by just watching it, but it’s also half Uncut Gems where characters do wild self-destructive, terrible things to hurt each other.

     I hate that it’s so good at balancing the two so much that it feels real.
