     @fixatedpersonsunit No worries, you can block their domain. However, last time I checked Newsmast is ad-free and, as a non-profit organization, doesn't run advertisements or sell user data to advertisers.

     Founded by ad industry, has links to big UK agencies, uses bots and paid staff to spam feeds.

     Dodgy as hell. Exactly the kind of players you don't want clogging up the Fediverse, but as you said, can easily be blocked.
