@gwynnion I honestly don't get how people think they can make some sort of neat division and act like the way we behave as a literal social species isn't some emergent property of our environment, our history, and our biology. -

@gwynnion Like, this shit is all mixed up together, and filtered through our cultural expectations about how we believe the world to be, and it boggles my mind that apparently "this will take a shitload of unpacking by very clever people doing a lot of study, and you basically can't make simple pronouncements about it" isn't immediately obvious.
