100% the thing that people will look back on us like we look back on uranium-glazed glass and leaded glassware are the little plastic containers that people will wash and reuse. every time i see one i can't help but think about how many microplastics get abraded off by routine dishwashing and scrubbing

I'll note that to treat asbestos you have to glass it at 3000°C you can at least do Pyrolysis on plastics and then burn the left residues at 6000°C to have virtually 0 cancerous material left.
If of course a high energy cost just like asbestos but you can still reduce it greatly compared to high price landfill. -
