  France’s Flamanville 3 Reactor Online in France After 12-Year Delay (you read that right), the first new reactor it’s built in 25 years. Unit 3 began construction in 2007 with an expected completion date of 2012 and expected cost of €3.3 billion. Instead it’s taken 17 years and the cost is estimated at about 13.2 billion euros ($13.76 billion), about four times its initial estimated cost.   @Infoseepage you need to factor in land, electrical infra and battery storage to get to similar behaviour, that will reduce the multiplier by quite a bit, but it will still be substantial :)
