Just a little over one year ago, the Juno spacecraft made its first of two very close flybys of Jupiter's volcanic moon Io.

1. Half lit image of the Jupiter moon Io showing a soft beige surface with greenish surfaces mixed in. Sharp mountains stand out against the otherwise smooth surface and cast long shadows near the terminator line. Black lava features are scattered around on the surface, one of them has a horseshoe shape.
