  Musk is Señor T’s most important donor, most influential social media promoter & a key adviser on policy & personnel. For most of the time since the election, he has also been Trump’s tenant, using one of the Mar-a-lago cottages, giving him easy access to Trump. He has attended personnel meetings, sat in on phone calls with foreign leaders & spent hours with Trump. Musk’s employees have also been integrally involved in the transition, vetting candidates for senior administration jobs
