@bmacDonald94
that makes them/us look like very organised ants?
WOW
@Rory29 ~ I have been in that traffic, an ant does it better my friend. 😂
Wow... they would rather sit in that over taking a train , bus, or subway..😂
@CindyWeinstein ~ I attended several of his classes during my undergrad years at UCSD. His and Angel Davis thoughts still ring true. Thank you for the comment.
Don't often see Marcuse here. Thanks for the post.
@bmacDonald94 Imagine, we'd put all those people (mostly only one person in a car) onto a nice comfy passenger train. Or even two or three, for different directions. So much spare ground & a lot less stress, aggression, almost no emission.
@energisch_ ~ I am not sure that LA could stand the withdrawal fro the automobile. 👍
Lucky you!! You are welcome. And Happy New Year (though the Marcuse admittedly puts a bit of a crimp in that!).
@bmacDonald94
This!
@bmacDonald94 Originally the automobile was a fantastic “vehicle “ allowing freedom!!
How quickly it became a trap.
@bmacDonald94 or soft, take busses not trains.
@bmacDonald94 best hard detox ;-)

Does anyone know where this is? I spent a while looking at the “satellite” view of the 405 and couldn’t find anywhere with this many lanes (21). The closest I got was 17 in Sherman Oaks
@cdunnpasadena ~ I have changed the image. More people worried over that than the quote. Using the Santa Monica freeway instead.
