   Mainstream Marxists like Anton Pannekoek were discarded and forgotten. Here is one of his thoughts on Darwinism. Again Marxist's rhetoric is very confusing on how about the lumpenproletariat fits into all of this.

     "...evolution takes thousands of years..."

     Micro-evolution takes thousands of years. Macro-evolution, which results in the emergence of new species, occurs over millions of years.

     NB : this closes the chapter on my previous toot on Darwinism and lack of zeitgeist.
     The bottom line being that evolution takes thousands of years, and that applying and/or mixing politics with natural selection (artificial selection) is unscientific, precisely like eugenist movements who did exactly the same to their advantage this time, obviously.
