I guess the question doesn't specify which I meant, except in the implication that there might be some limit possible, which isn't the case with hereditary monarchy.
@evan If you have the right to ask ambiguous questions — and of course you do — you shouldn't be surprised when respondents give answers to questions other than what you meant.
