Seems like Ghostty released their 1.0, and many YouTube videos are praising it. But it seems there’s no reason for me to switch my terminal emulator from Kitty to Ghostty.

I ran https://github.com/alacritty/vtebench and found Ghostty is faster than Kitty in benchmarks. Not sure if that really impacts practical real-world use. Feature-wise, I use a tiling window manager and tmux, so I don't need all the fancy features Ghostty provides. If you're happy with your current terminal emulator and don't feel it's slow, you don't need to consider Ghostty. For the test, I compiled and configured Ghostty in my machine. So I set it as my backup terminal emulator.
