     @Sheril I agree, but there are plenty who choose to be homeless, and plenty who expect to be GIVEN a home.

     No handouts. If someone is not willing to put in the effort to buy a home or rent an apartment, then they definitely don't deserve to be given one, ESPECIALLY not on the backs of other Americans who already put in the effort to buy themselves a home or rent an apartment.
