As a general rule, the UK works much better than most people think it does, and Germany works much worse than most people think it does. I'd probably still rather live in Germany than the UK, but it's much closer than most people would probably think

@julesh Germany is less homogeneous than UK.
And, interestingly, things aren't working well in Berlin (the capital) compared to things working better in London (the capital) than most anywhere else in UK.
Health services still mostly work in Germany. In UK - total collapse in several areas.
Trains in Germany are at least affordable...
