     @jplebreton I don't think we should underestimate the degree to which the internet, and their online shitposting and posturing venues, enables and accelerates this.

     They would not have the problems they had in the dark ages with only print and TV news. Because someone would be controlling their narrative and those who object wouldn't find each other.
