   I would rate pay for a good search engine, but ever time I get a subscription to Kagi, I feel like their index isn't any better than Bing/DDG. Even when you select the "Small Web" filter, you don't really get a lot of small blog results.

     Let us know if you find good solutions for searching independent websites and blogs.
     
     It is difficult to find tech blog posts that seem to be written by an actual person in the big search engine results.
