    @Radical_EgoCom I disagreed but Luigi has really made me question my choice. The United healthcare practices violence on a mass scale.

      The way I see it, if a mean, even if it's something that is usually seen as unethical by society, can achieve a positive end, such as the liberation of the working class from capitalism, then it should not immediately be taken off the table and should at least be considered.

      If the change that is won is the abolition of capitalism, then having nonviolent voices dominate would likely be detrimental to this new non-capitalist society because violence will be necessary to repress counter-revolution and the restoration of capitalism, something that I mentioned in greater detail in the longer thread that I previously sent you.

      @Radical_EgoCom I see that. Looking back on social change since recorded history, non-violent means are always complimented by violence. I'm begging to see both may be needed. Shit the founding fathers tried peaceful redress.

      "non-violent means are always complimented by violence."
      This is because everyone acts out their frustration in different ways. What matters is that non-violent voices dominate, especially when change is won.

      @MrLee @caffinepwrd

      Are you actually going to explain how nonviolent resistance can stop or prevent counter-revolution or civil unrest, or do you not know? All this and your previous responses have done is criticize violent repression without showing how nonviolence can prevent or stop counter-revolution and civil unrest.

      "violence will be necessary to repress counter-revolution"
      But you must understand that there will be a much greater desire for "counter-revolution" if a significant number of people have had extreme violence inflicted on them. As MLK points out.
      "Hate begets hate; violence begets violence; toughness begets a greater toughness."
      Why would people support change when it just meant more violence? That only helps the "counter-revolution"
