   Unreasonably pumped about getting 1.2kg of chicken for £2.50 today thanks to a combo of special offer voucher and close best before date (it’s going in the freezer in portions anyway so it’s fine)

   I’m very lucky to be pretty financially stable these days , but once a thrift master, always a thrift master; you can’t just turn it off 😄

     @dev_ric we buy larger packs and freeze it in portions, we’ve found it cheaper & less waste that way. But this is my record on the cheapo scale, especially given how much food has gone up in price lately
