     @zeke This is where I disagree with Americans, I think it has always been fake and gay. Always, since inception.
     
     The problem is now - they can't fake it any longer. The perception management ability has gone out the window with the internet and smart phones.

     Yeah, I know. I'm doing the "WTF?" spiral most of the time myself. I'm close to your age too, so I remember what America was like in the 70's and 80's. The Counter Culture rot had already set in, but it was just a bit of easily avoided tarnish around the edges. America wasn't fake and ghey yet. Our women weren't ho's. Mudsharking was rare. Most people had common sense. It was totally different. I can't believe how far we've fallen. I never would have believed this could happen.
