     @davidnjoku @mountdiscovery It was kinda a delightful mess. Every Nissan power train car got an over-power penalty and the race was red-flagged twice. But I think it bodes well for the season because I think that was all indicative of drivers getting used to the Gen 3 Evo.

     @mountdiscovery I missed it? Shit. I thought the first race was in January.

     Another problem I have is that I listen to races on the radio rather than watch them and I haven't found the station that broadcasts Formula E.

     Was it a good race?

     @mountdiscovery It's really our most followed series here in my family. Everyone loves the complexity of energy management, the street courses, and the "Mtv in the 80s" feeling that, because nothing is decided in this format of racing, anything could happen at any time.

     @mountdiscovery IIRC, that's how all the Nissan power trains had over-power spikes. The charge into the first turn was always dramatic but now it's a proper nail-biter.

     BTW, y'all are the only two people I've met who follow FE at all.

     @mountdiscovery yeah, endurance racing is great and no shock you'd want endurance racers in FE. Endurance racing was actually where it all started here at home. We watched Ford v. Ferrari and loved it. It was the pandemic years and we couldn't travel so my partner suggested we watch Le Mans. We slept in front of the projection TV so we didn't miss anything. Later I said "If you really loved this, there's Formula E..." and that was all it took.

     @roadriverrail but I am predominantly a WEC guy these days

     Buemi, Frijns, Stoffel, Vernge, Muller, Norman, De Vries and Mortara (Di Grassi and Da Costa up until last year) too were recently part of the Endurance Racing series.

     Not to mention Alexa Rendell is the pit lane reporter and media person for that championship as well.
