   @mcnado To be fair, the Russians jam all GPS in around their territory, not only the plane they shot at.

     In case anyone forgot about a prior particular incident *ahem*, it seems Russia shot down another civilian airliner this week (and then refused them emergency landing and may have jammed their GPS).
