     @book @dgar its a hot dog, typically on a stick, covered in a cornmeal batter and fried. Effectively, a hotdog in a cornbread bum, on a stick.

     @book its just kind of a normal hotdog with a thin cakey bun. The stick is the real distinguishing factor

     @book @prettygood it’s not much worse than a regular hot dog, if you’ve ever had corn bread it’s just that + hot dog. I wish they weren’t so hard to get right so I could make them with better hot dogs
