   I see the "yes, but" crowd is out and about to tell you that donating to #Wikipedia is wrong, not needed as they have enough money already etc. Elon Musk is proud of you ;)

     @jwildeboer I don’t think it’s fair to imply that everyone saying this is pro Elon/ anti Wikipedia (as a Wikimedian myself) the Foundation does have a lot of cash, doesn’t mean donating to them is bad, but there is logic in what people say, and yes, in ways money donated to other things could have more of an impact, especially for organizations with so many less resources. They aren’t against us (people who value Wikipedia). They just think money is more effective elsewhere.
