     This is also why I refuse to be profiled in any stories about autism in Singapore. I usually reply and ask them ‘do you plan to make this story about how I am autistic but appear normal and successful and you can too?’ And they always say yes. There is no room for nuance or true education on this topic there, it’s all educators and parents and ‘well meaning’ people who just want to help you conform and mask. If ABA was a country, it would be Singapore
