   It’s hard to overemphasize just what a bombshell this was for the webcomic scene in the late 90s/early 00s. Comics had been using GIF even for non-animated strips, and major comics started spearheading anti-GIF campaigns and teaching people how to switch to PNG.

     @misty Unisys? I wonder if that's the same Unisys who fired me for needing surgery so I don't fucking die after I had been on a list for a few years, and despite the fact I was up front with all of this at the time of hire and notified them immediately when I was told it was time.
