   The other day on Bluesky, I saw a trans adult who was okay with trans kids losing access to care as long as they got to keep theirs and it viscerally repulsed me.

   Trans kids have one chance, one small window of opportunity, to get their life right and avoid a lifetime of sorrow and expensive, painful, difficult procedures to try and undo an unwanted puberty.

   Right now our government is taking that away for no fucking reason.

   So fuck you and your "as long as I get mine" shit.

     A couple of years ago, I read a news story about a trans woman who transitioned later in life under the old gatekeeping system and who went into providing gender-affirming care herself -- so she could gatekeep trans kids and people younger than her and force them to suffer the way she suffered.

     I am fully capable of hating other trans people who pull shit like this.
