I use a mailbox service where the older Asian lady who runs it was one of the first people I ever met when we moved to SF. As I got more and more into my vintage film cameras Gear Acquisition Syndrome (GAS), I take stuff out and she tells me she used to have one in the past. Now we do this thing where she asks me ‘what do you get?’ I say ‘guess’ and she says ‘old camera’

If you, like me have adhd or similar, I highly recommend using a locally run mail service if you can afford it. On days where I have no spoons to figure out postage and packing materials or envelopes or stamps, I just go to her and say ‘please help me with this’. Also takes out the pain of needing to stick around to sign for things coz she’s always there.

@skinnylatte never thought about this. How much does it cost you?
I have a small pile of stuff I need to sell, but I know I never going to do it. I should look for a service that can handle that. Or I guess a pawn shop.
