     "They were not Brazilian workers, they were CHINESE workers coming from abroad.

     And the factory was not closed, there was an interdiction of the lodgings and sections of the construction site."

     @mauricio_santos but it's written in English. If someone tries to translate it to eg Portuguese, Chinese they won't be able to. Of someone has a filter to only let posts in English through, they won't see the post.

     In Brazil, when a company hires another to provide labor, it can be held accountable for the working conditions, including situations where workers are in conditions analogous to slavery.

     Brazilian labor law stipulates that if the hired company fails to fulfill labor obligations, the hiring company can be held responsible, as the hiring company is obliged to oversee the compliance of labor standards by the subcontracted company.
     The BYD is responsible for this situation.
