   Is it just me... Or is the unrelenting barrage of constant advertising on YouTube and other websites becoming insanely overwhelming?

   Like I can feel my body recoiling at it all every time. Its like another avenue of information overload

     @fuzzle @QueerMatters Shorts are only hostile if you have auto-advance-to-next on or feel some desire to do that yourself. Otherwise they're ad-free videos that get to the point in 60s rather than 2 hours. The ones that are nasty AI drivel only show up once you've been scrolling; IME they're rarely shown to click on and obvious garbage when they do.

     @QueerMatters Youtube and its algorhythms became worse over last 1 or 2 years, as Google search results also.
     i would suggest using u-block origin and also hiding shorts on youtube. - just for mental health reasons
