     @anathema Former East Germany *is* a "jacked wife": angry, insane, derelict, devoid of the feminine charms she once had (the charming bridges of Königsberg). As opposed to East Germany, who was anything but "jacked": beautiful, intelligent, lovable despite her loss of the bridges that you married her for.
