   PSA for people who are considering deleting their X accounts: maybe don't. Cybersquatting is a real possibility.

   Earlier today I shared that I had initiated the procedure to delete my 3 X accounts last month. There's a 30 day delay and it finally went through on Dec 12 aka 11 days ago.

   I had 3 popular accounts that were sometimes quoted in the media. Their following was modest (30k combined) but they were followed by influential people.

   Well, 2 out of 3 usernames have already been taken over.

     Thank you. I can't imagine that my nym has remotely enough attention to be worth pirating, but I also just haven't had the bandwidth to deal with deleting my Xitter account. Good: something to cross off my to-do list.
