   I'm exceptionally happy that Doordash has started using AI to provide descriptions of dishes when the restaurant failed to provide one.

   With out it, how would I know that this mysterious "cheese naan" was "naan with cheese"?

   truly, we are in the golden age of artificial intelligence!

     @foone I've got a lethally serious allergy, so I keep wondering when there's going to be some AI summary that mislabels ingredients in a way that might get me killed.

     The bright side: generative AI means that casual hobbyists can make content with little effort
     
     The dark side: companies that actually have budgets for artistic talent can simply zero out their budgets, ship mid-tier slop and pocket the difference in profits.
