   I think Mr. Hitchens' observation presupposes the ability of the would-be dictator to hold his prop right-side up.

   Perhaps there is some hope in that.

     Honestly I don't get the sense that reading is his "best thing."

     But I'm sure he's well versed since he's been coached by some of the foremost neo-experts in the field.
