     What’s really insidious here is that the idea that people who detransition out of regret are being silenced, rather than frantically interviewed about having their stories spread around by transphobes.

     OH MY GOD THEY HAVE CONSPIRACY THEORIES ABOUT IT. Some of these TERFs are convinced that trans people are just pretending to have detransition kinks in order to drown out the voices of actual detransitioners.

     It’s not an uncommon kink, and detransitioning out of regret is extremely rare. So no, Ovarit user Pointer, I don’t think there’s a robot detransition kinkster conspiracy.

     @BathysphereHat Somehow the transphobes who exploit detransition stories like that never seem to mention that the single largest cause of that regret is a lack of support. Transphobia literally causes that regret, and yet they're all too happy to profit from it.
