     @eris @tauon @sterophonick the last time ppc will ever be anywhere close to an average person's home
     even in embedded i don't think it sees much use these days, largely a total ARM victory (until the half-cent chinese RISC-V chips start coming in)

     @tauon @sterophonick a steamdeck doesn't have any software level limitations, it's usable like any other portable PC for PC stuff

     @chjara @eris @tauon @sterophonick Given ESP32 got RISC-V variants (ESP32-C, -H and -P) for quite a while now, it's probably coming sooner than we'd otherwise think.
     
     In fact damn, ESP32-P4 with dual-core 400 MHz, yup my sun workstation (single-core 660 Mhz sparc64) could probably be compared to a microcontroller now.
