1. If you're buying something from Gumroad Make sure to remove every tracking from URL. Gumroad planned to take 30% cut from artists, if a product was found through search or discover system. This starts in 2025 The simple way to lookout is "?" sign after the url remove everything after ? and copy the url to open in new tab. A url is shown with ?feature=discover highlighted artist will get cut by 30% from gumroad Because the "?layout=discover" is a tracking link that told Gumroad's system to take the cut by 30%. This link got added to the url through search function. The same url is shown but without the ?layout=discover part artist will get cut by 10% from gumroad Without any tracking link, Gumroad's system will only take the cut by 10%, Remember that you'll need to open in new tab entirely.
