   @shollyethan Hi Ethan! I just wanted to thank you for your encouragement a month ago… when I wrote in one of my posts that I had a dream of eventually self-hosting, I remember you commented that I should just take a leap and do it - that it is the best way to learn.

   Well, I heeded your advice, signed up for a VPS, installed YunoHost and I’m currently waiting for the DNS records to propagate… It feels incredibly empowering, I’ve been smiling from ear to ear ever since. So thank you! 🙏

     @_elena Elena! I noticed one of your recent posts referencing YunoHost and was wondering what you were up to! So cool to see you jump on the bandwagon and am excited to read about your experiences in the future.

     Always happy to help if you get stuck with anything, although I'm not currently self-hosting any fediverse software - so you already have me beat there! (I also hear @stefan is a pretty qualified fediverse self-hoster...)🙃
