     @kincaid (also, not emergency power. The fact that they have generators is a plot point in the books. The Silos don’t NEED them, but they’re there for a reason. They have, however, changed that reason slightly for the TV adaptation)

     “What are all these servers in IT actually DOING?” - he doesn’t know the answer to that.

     Also good questions to ask, but she hasn’t.

     @kincaid Depending on how closely they’re following the books, we won’t find out this season anyway.

     I have no idea how they’re going to adapt book 2 though. Book 3 is the sequel to book 1. Book 2 is part backstory and part book 1 from another perspective. It explains WHY.

     @kincaid we’re currently about half way through Wool, I think. They kinda need to get on with it if they’re ever going to finish this story.
