If I had to make a prediction, I think it will continue to get worse until the people can't stand it anymore and it finally changes in a huge significant way. The fall of Twitter was massive in showing people how unimportant social media actually is. I know a lot of people who are much happier now that there isn't only ONE town hall where everyone gets to piss and moan. For me, Mastodon is home and I'm not going bac, even if the jerk sells it.
