   Letting X or anyone else target a media company’s donors chills all donor-funded news outlets, whether on the left or the right.

   It would weaken an already struggling news industry.

     We filed an amicus brief urging an appeals court to shut down X’s demand for Media Matters’s donor information because it violates the First Amendment.
