     Yea it's from a year ago, and he's literally been saying that for a decade or more.
     
     I mean, I do think it's pretty obvious Israel wants Assad gone and demonized, and open civil war so the remainder destroy themselves, so that it's easier for them to expand their nation into a greater Israel, but this particular screenshot/viewpoint doesn't seem all that significantly relevant.

     I’m sure this has nothing to do with current events
