I am not American, so this is really very bad news. The only thing that keeps me safe from the predation of the United States or its favoured allies, is that some kind of retaliation is possible.

Balance of power is a good thing.

You don't want to be in a position where America or its allies, can like a bully punch you in the face with your own arm while they say they have the right to defend themselves.
