   @laura I was reading your article on custom emojis (and self-hosting...I'm thinking about it)

   The question I have is if I made a custom emoji, and used it, would others reading from their own instances see my emoji? If not, it seems very little point.

     @pictor yes! I have my own instance. So if it didn’t work, I’d be the only person able to see my emoji!
