     @sun with local AI it's a breeze. I write the outline and go paragraph by paragraph with a suitable base prompt and much manual editing. my stories get positive feedback.

     @kaia there is software where you write story using virtual "index cards" to fill out a skeleton, which apparently closely models how writers often write a novel

     @sun yeah, with Nemo Mistral. my base prompt is along the lines of editing engine, no facts added, revise paragraph in style of modern novel. maybe add favorite authors as targets. it works okay. still is a lot of work though, takes many rounds of editing. but might be easier for you as native speaker

     @sun @kaia guess its similar to how you fine tune a prompt to get the perfect boobs in SD, but ... i wouldn't call it writing, AI text always has a weird vibe at least what I saw from gpt3

     I think if one takes the time to iterate and fix all the yucky artifacts and tells, the text is basically yours, since you touch every sentence 10+ times.
     
     I do the same when writing prose. difference being that I have an easier time critiquing something and fixing it over coming up with it from scratch. due to missing vocab or similar.
